The DIMER DIABETES 2026 Postgraduate Course in Advanced Diabetes was held October 29–31, 2026, at the Radisson Collection Hotel Vadistanbul in Istanbul, Turkiye. It was organized by Professor Mustafa Kanat, a member of the GNC, from Istanbul Atlas University, DIMER Diabetes & Obesity Center, Istanbul, Turkiye. The meeting was well attended and brought together international leaders across the cardio-kidney-liver-metabolic (CKLM) spectrum. Over three days, the program covered MASLD and the cardiac, kidney, liver and other complications of metabolic syndrome, and included interactive case forums that encouraged practical, multidisciplinary discussion. Professor Zobair Younossi, Chair of the GNC, gave two lectures in a dedicated session on the global burden of MASLD/MASH. The first, How to Identify Patients with Cardiometabolic Risk and Progressive MASLD?, addressed risk stratification. The second, The Evolving Therapeutic Landscape of MASLD and MASH, reviewed current and emerging treatments. The DIMER DIABETES meeting is a highly sought-after international meeting that brings all stakeholders together annually in Turkiye, and GNC members have been involved for the past five years. Congratulations to Professor Kanat for organizing this excellent meeting. Next year, DIMER DIABETES 2027 will be held October 25–28, 2027, in Bodrum, Turkiye.
