GNC and GLC had another very successful meeting during ILC 2025 with over 70 members participating. The meeting was full of exciting reports related to the projects of different GNC/GLC committees. Additionally, an in-depth 3 hours meeting was dedicated to MASLD/SLD discussing NIT algorithms in clinical practice, awareness challenges, patient perspective about MASLD, preventive hepatology and Burden of Disease/Cost of Inaction for MASLD. These discussions will lead to more projects helping to move the field forward as well as recommendations to policy makers about actions that are needed to deal with MASLD at a global level.
