Members of COR-LD have been leaders in conducting rigorous systematic reviews and meta-analyses across a wide range of liver diseases, including hepatitis C virus (HCV), metabolic dysfunction–associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis (MASH), MASH-related hepatocellular carcinoma (MASH-HCC), and steatotic liver disease (SLD). These efforts involve comprehensive literature searches, critical appraisal of evidence, and quantitative synthesis conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines.
Systematic review and meta-analysis work produced by COR-LD investigators has been widely cited and has played a foundational role in informing clinical guidelines, shaping research priorities, and supporting subsequent health economic and outcomes modeling conducted by the team.
