It is with great sorrow that we mourn the untimely passing of our friend and colleague Stephen Harrison, MD. Dr. Harrison was a beacon of inspiration and professionalism, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside him. He was one of the pioneers in the field of MASLD and MASH and has made extensive contributions to the field of hepatology more broadly. His dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence set a standard for us all to follow.

Beyond his impressive achievements, he was a thoughtful and generous person who embodied what we should all aspire to be as human beings. He was the kindest of friends – loyal, positive, reliable and hard working. Despite his indisputable success and contributions, he was humble and caring. The void left by his departure is immense, and he will be deeply missed by many of us and never forgotten. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, his wife, Renee, daughter Anna-Lauren and son, Taylor for their profound loss.
